Glencoe, North Carolina ... Glencoe Mill Village offers a unique glimpse of a 1880s cotton mill and village. The 105-acre site along the Haw River includes the mill complex, 32 houses, the mill store, office, lodge and other associated buildings. The site is of great historical and environmental significance.

Southern Oral History Project ... In building this website, our intent is to make oral history resources available to teachers at the secondary and college level and to suggest some of the ways in which the stories told in Like a Family can enrich the classroom experience for U.S. History students

Startex Tucapau Historical Society ...
